1mind alternatives: Synapsa, Qualified and Breakout compared
Synapsa, Qualified and Breakout are the 1mind alternatives we’d put on a shortlist. Here’s what each is best for, how it differs from 1mind, and what it costs.
In this guide
Teams look past 1mind for three reasons: they were referred from Drift and want to compare before signing, their buyers need more than the website and live calls, or a six-figure contract is a lot to commit before testing on their own buyers. For reference, Vendr’s benchmark puts 1mind’s median buyer at about $125,000 a year.

Why teams reconsider 1mind
1mind isn’t a bad product. It is a specific kind of product, built on a clear thesis, and it is now the default path for Drift customers.
Its founder built 6sense, and 1mind’s “Superhumans” are genuinely new: an AI with a face and a voice that can qualify a visitor, give a demo, answer the technical question and, with Ride-Along, join a live sales call. If your buyers want to see the product and talk to someone who knows it, that is a real strength.
But a persona placed on a surface waits for the buyer to arrive at that surface. Several factors lead teams to look at alternatives before they sign:
You were referred, not migrated
Clari + Salesloft’s agreement refers existing Drift customers to 1mind. Neither company has published a migration program, pricing for Drift customers or a timeline, and we found nothing on carrying over Drift playbooks or conversation history. 1mind is a separate company, with its own contract.
Inbound, on the surfaces it’s placed
1mind’s published surfaces are your website, your product, deal rooms and live calls. Its founder told TechCrunch it isn’t playing in outbound. 1mind says it follows up on inbound leads automatically, but we found no two-way email, text or phone channel named in its published material. Across our customer deployments, SMS messages see 98% open rates compared to email’s 20%.
A six-figure commitment before you test on your own buyers
1mind doesn’t publish pricing. Vendr’s benchmark puts the median buyer at about $125,000 a year, and third-party research describes custom annual contracts with no trial. Setup runs through two to three workshops with a customer success manager, with go-live in about four weeks, by 1mind’s own marketplace listing.
Built to feed one sales platform
1mind’s buyer signals flow into Salesloft Cadences and the Clari forecast, and Clari + Salesloft is its exclusive Drift partner. For teams that run that stack, it is a genuine benefit. For teams that don’t, the product’s next priorities are set with someone else’s platform in mind.
What happens after the booking
1mind books meetings and hands off to a rep, and Ride-Along writes summaries of the calls it joins. We found no reminders, rescheduling or no-show recovery in 1mind’s published material. Across our customer deployments, 30% to 40% of booked B2B meetings don’t happen as scheduled.
Why Synapsa is a strong 1mind alternative
If you came to 1mind from Drift, or you are weighing it now, here is how the work you’d expect from it maps to Synapsa, and what changes.
- A Superhuman that engages website visitorsAn agent that engages visitors on your site, and also starts from a form, a CRM change, an inbox reply, an outbound list or any API event
- Qualification and objection handling, trained on your contentPlaybook conversations with goals, mandatory questions and escalation points, built with your team by the AI copilot from your own materials
- Thousands of simulated conversations during a vendor-led setupSimulation your team runs any time, with a person or an AI playing the buyer, before and after launch
- Website, in-product and live-call surfacesText, voice, webchat and email in one conversation, switching in real time with full memory of the buyer
- Routing, booking and a handoff to a repRouting and booking in the conversation, then reminders, rescheduling, decline detection and no-show recovery until the meeting is held
- Answers that cite their sourceEvery decision traceable, and every playbook change approved, logged and restorable
Where 1mind is stronger, we’ll say so: if your buyers need to see a face, hear a demo or have an AI join the sales call itself, 1mind was built for that and Synapsa wasn’t. If they need to be reached wherever they show interest and followed to a meeting that happens, Synapsa was.
What to look for
If you’re evaluating AI tools for lead conversion, here are five questions worth asking any vendor:
- Where does engagement start?Only when a buyer lands on your site or product, or also from a form, a CRM change, an inbox reply, an outbound list or any event?
- What channels work today? Not roadmap. What’s live? Email? Text? Phone? Webchat? And can one conversation move between them without losing what the buyer said?
- Where does the workflow end?At “meeting booked”, or does it help make sure the meeting actually happens?
- Who builds and controls the agent? Can your own team build and change the playbook, test it in simulation, approve each change, and see why the AI made each decision?
- Can you test it on your buyers before you sign? How long until you’re live, what does it cost to find out, and can you run real scenarios before the contract?
How Synapsa compares
We’re not neutral here. We built Synapsa because we believe the gap between a buyer’s signal and a held meeting is a bigger problem than the website alone. Here’s how we approach each of the dimensions above:
Reach: every signal, not only the visit
Synapsa engages buyers on your website like 1mind does. It also starts from a form, a lead going quiet in the CRM, a reply in the inbox, an outbound list or any event sent by API, so the buyers who never return to your site are still reached.
Channels: one conversation, wherever the buyer answers
One agent moves between text, voice, webchat and email in real time with full memory. When a buyer ignores email but answers a text, the conversation carries on there, and nobody asks them the same question twice.
Control: your team builds it, approves it, and can see why
The AI copilot builds the agent and its playbook with your team: the goal, what must be established before booking, where each buyer goes and why, and when a person takes over. Simulation tests it before a buyer sees it. Every change is approved, logged and restorable, and every decision is traceable.
Post-booking lifecycle: more meetings that hold
Synapsa books meetings in the conversation, then carries them to held: reminders by the channel most likely to get a response, decline detection, rescheduling inside the conversation, no-show recovery without rep involvement, and recordings and summaries written to your CRM. Teams see show rates improve by 10 to 15% across customer deployments.
Time to value: test it on your buyers first
Most teams launch within days, using existing CRM data and workflows, and you can run real buyer scenarios in simulation before anything goes live.
Independent of any one sales platform
Synapsa works natively with HubSpot and Salesforce and writes every conversation, qualification detail and meeting event back to your CRM. It is SOC 2, HIPAA and FERPA compliant.
| Dimension | 1mind | Synapsa |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A Superhuman on your website, product or call | Any signal: visit, form, CRM change, inbox, outbound list, API |
| Channels | Web chat, face-and-voice avatar, in-product, live calls; automatic follow-up, channel not named | Text, voice, webchat and email, switching in real time |
| Live demos and calls | Yes: demos and Ride-Along on Zoom, Teams and Meet | Not offered; recordings and summaries of meetings |
| Outbound | Not offered, per its founder | Outbound lists start playbook conversations |
| Building the agent | Two to three vendor-led workshops, then simulation | AI copilot your team uses, then simulation |
| Governance | Guardrails; answers cite their source | Decision traces, approvals, change log and restore |
| After the booking | Handoff to a rep; reminders and no-show recovery not found | Reminders, rescheduling, decline detection, no-show recovery |
| Sales platform | Feeds Salesloft Cadences and the Clari forecast | Independent; native HubSpot and Salesforce |
| Pricing (benchmark, Oct 2026) | Median about $125,000 a year (Vendr); not published | Setup, then monthly; starting prices published |
Who should switch, and who shouldn’t
Synapsa isn’t for everyone. Here’s who we’re built for, and who should probably stay with 1mind.
Consider Synapsa if
- You came from Drift and want to compare before you sign the contract you were referred to.
- Your buyers show interest in many places, not only on your website, and you need to reach them after they leave.
- You need email, text and phone as well as webchat, in one conversation with one memory.
- You run outbound, or want lapsed leads in your CRM worked automatically.
- Your meetings fall through after booking and you want reminders, rescheduling and no-show recovery handled for you.
- You want your own team to build, test, approve and audit the playbooks.
Stay with 1mind if
- Your buyers expect a live demo from someone who knows the product, and a face-and-voice AI on your site or in the call is the experience you want.
- You want an AI sales engineer joining live calls with your reps.
- You run Clari + Salesloft and want buyer signals flowing straight into Cadences and the forecast.
- Whatever you decide, run the same real buyer scenario through every demo before you commit to an annual contract.
We’d rather you pick the right tool for your context than switch for the wrong reasons.
Making the switch
Whether you’re coming from Drift or from 1mind, the work is the same: write down what works today and rebuild it where your buyers need it. We work with your team to translate the important parts, and the playbook copilot turns them into your first playbook.
What transfers
- Qualification criteria and logic
- Routing rules and rep assignments
- Product knowledge, FAQs and objection handling
- Brand voice and conversation tone
- Historical conversation context (from your CRM)
What needs configuration
- Text and voice channel setup and compliance
- Signals that start a conversation (CRM, forms, outbound, API)
- Meeting reminders and recovery preferences
- CRM field mappings
- Team training (usually 1-2 sessions)
Every playbook is tested in simulation before it reaches a buyer, so your team sees it work on real scenarios first. Most teams see positive ROI in month one with Conversion OS.
Questions
What is the best alternative to 1mind?
It depends on why you’re looking. If you need to reach buyers beyond your website, in email, text and phone as well as webchat, and carry booked meetings through to held, Synapsa is built for that. If you want a face-and-voice AI that gives live demos and joins sales calls, 1mind’s approach is the closer fit.
Do Drift customers have to move to 1mind?
No. Clari + Salesloft refers Drift customers to 1mind under an exclusive agreement, but 1mind is a separate company and the choice of replacement is yours. Get your Drift access end date and data export terms in writing, then compare options on the same buyer scenario.
How is Synapsa different from 1mind?
1mind starts from a visible AI persona placed on your website, product or sales call. Synapsa starts from the buyer’s signal wherever it shows up, runs one conversation across text, voice, webchat and email with full memory, and keeps going after the booking until the meeting is held. Your team builds and approves the playbooks with an AI copilot.
How much does 1mind cost?
1mind doesn’t publish pricing. Vendr’s benchmark puts the median buyer at about $125,000 a year as of October 2026, on custom annual contracts. Ask for pricing in writing and whether you can test on your own buyers before signing.
Is Synapsa secure and compliant?
Yes. Synapsa is SOC 2, HIPAA and FERPA compliant. Every action the AI takes is traceable, and playbook changes are approved, logged and restorable.
